Pershing Annual Royal Blue and White Weekend
Request for Selection as Host Unit

(AKA 'the Bid')

A primary goal of the Pershing Annual Royal Blue and White Weekend, is to further foster a spirit of Brotherhood and Sisterhood amongst members of the Pershing Family. But an additional goal of the event is the Financial assistance it brings to the Host Chapter as a fundraiser, and the Training Opportunity it provides the undergraduate Brothers and Sisters involved in the planning and execution of the event.

In an effort to provide these opportunities to many different schools over time, while still having a good event, the PROCESS for selection was created.

What makes a Good Host School?

Enough manpower to plan and execute the event
Support from Alumni
Planning well in advance - the more detailed the plan, the further out from the event, the better
A plan with a good mix of the classics (cookout, drill meet, etc), and new ideas
Financial posturing for success
